معراض سے شکار
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْمِعْرَاضِ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَصَبْتَ بِحَدِّهِ فَكُلْ، وَمَا أَصَبْتَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَهُوَ وَقِيذٌ ،
عدی بن حاتم ؓ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے بغیر پر کے تیر کے شکار کے متعلق پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: جسے تم نے دھار سے مارا ہے اسے کھاؤ اور جسے عرض (بغیر دھاردار حصہ یعنی چوڑان) سے مارا ہے تو وہ «وقيذ» ہے ١ ؎۔
Sayyidina Adi ibn Hatim (RA) said that he asked the Prophet ﷺ about hunting with mi’rad. He said, ‘That which comes to you from its tip, eat. But that which you get with its sides is knocked down,” (meaning, “If the animal dies with the sharp end of the mi’rad then yOU may eat, hut if it dies from the strike of its side then you may not eat.”) [Bukhari 4575, Muslim 929]
