Rabbi awzi'ni an ashkura ni'mataka allati an'amta 'alayya wa 'ala walidayya wa an a'mala salihan tardahu wa aslih li fi dhurriyyati. Innii tubtu ilayka wa inni min al-muslimin
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.
اے میرے رب! مجھے توفیق دے کہ میں تیری اس نعمت کا شکر ادا کروں جو تُونے مجھ پر اور میرے والدین پر عطا فرمائی اور یہ کہ ایسا نیک عمل کروں جس سے تو راضی ہو جائے اورمیرے لیے میری اولاد کی اصلاح فرما دے، بے شک میں نے تیری طرف توبہ کی اور بے شک میں مسلمانوں میں سے ہوں
O Allah! I hope for Your mercy, so do not entrust me to myself for the twinkling of an eye and set all my affairs straight, there is no deity except You.
اے اللہ! میں تیری رحمت کا امیدوار ہوں، پس پلک جھپکنے (ایک لمحے) کے لیے بھی مجھے میرے نفس کے حوالے نہ کر اور میرے سب حالات سنوار دے، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں

Allāhumma innī as’aluka min al-ḫayrikullihi ‘ājilihi wa ājilihi mā ‘alimtu minhu wa mā lam a‘lam, wa a‘ūdhubika min al-šarrikullihi ‘ājilihi wa ājilihi mā ‘alimtu minhu wa mā lam a‘lam.
O Allah! Indeed I ask You for all the goodness of the hastened one (this world) and of the delayed one (the Hereafter), from what I know and what I do not know. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from all the evil of the hastened one (this world) and of the delayed one (the Hereafter), from what I know and what I do not know.
اے اللہ ! بے شک میں تجھ سے جلدی ملنے والی (دنیا کی) اور دیر سے ملنے والی (آخرت کی) تمام بھلائیوں کا سوال کرتا ہوں، ان میں سے جن کو میں جانتا ہوں اور جن کو میں نہیں جانتا اور میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں جلدی ملنے والی (دنیا کی) اور دیر سے ملنے والی (آخرت کی) تمام برائیوں سے جن کو میں جانتا ہوں اور جن کو میں نہیں جانتا

11Masnoon Duaمسنون دعاء
Asking for All the Good the Prophet saww Asked for
Allāhumma innī as’aluka min ḫayrimā sa’laka ‘abduka wa nabīyuka wa a‘ūdhubika min šarri mā ‘āḏabihu ‘abduka wa nabīyuka.
O Allah! Indeed I ask You of all good which Your servant and Prophetۖ asked for and I seek refuge in You from all evils that Your servant and Prophetۖ sought refuge from.
اے اللہ ! بے شک میں تجھ سے ہر اس بھلائی کا سوال کرتا ہوں جس کا سوال تیرے بندے اور نبیۖ نے کیا اور ہر اس برائی سے پناہ چاہتا ہوں جس سے تیرے بندے اور نبیۖ نے پناہ چاہی
O Allah! Grant me Your love and the love of those whose love will help me draw nearer to You. O Allah! Whatever You have provided me of that which I love, then make it a means to strengthen me for that which You love. O Allah! and what You have kept from me of that which I love then make it a means for me to be free for that which You love.
اے اللہ ! مجھے اپنی محبت عطا کر اور اس شخص کی محبت دے جس کی محبت مجھے تیر ے قریب ہونے میں فائدہ دے۔ اے اللہ! تیرے عطا کیے ہوئے میں سے جس سے میں محبت کرتا ہوں تو اس کو میرے ان کاموں کے لیے قوت کا سبب بنا جن سے تو محبت کرتا ہے، اے اللہ! جو تو نے مجھ سے لے لیا ہے وہ جس سے میں محبت کرتا ہوں، تو اس کو میرے ان کاموں کے لیے فراغت کا باعث بنا جن سے تو محبت کر تا ہے

Asking for Allah's Love and Fear
اللہ کی محبت اور خوف کے ہر چیز پر حاوی ہوجانے کی دعا
Allāhumma ij‘al ḥubbaka aḥabba al-ashyā’ ilayya wa ij‘al khawfaka akhwafa al-ashyā’ ilayya wa qṭa‘ ‘anni ḥājāti al-dunyā bi al-shawq ilā liqā’ika wa idhā aqrarta a‘yuna ahl al-dunyā min dunyāhum fa aqrir ‘aynī min ‘ibādatika
O Allah! Increase Your love for me over the love of all other things, exceed Your fear over the fear of all other things and exceed my eagerness to meet You over all the worldly desires, And when the eyes of the people of the world are cooled by their world, place the coolness of my eyes in Your worship.
اے اللہ ! اپنی محبت کو میرے لیے ہر چیز کی محبت سے بڑھا دے ، مجھ میں اپنا خوف ہر چیز کے خوف سے زیادہ کر دے ، دنیا کی ہر طلب پر اپنی ملاقات کا شوق غالب کر دے اور جب تو د نیا والوں کو ان کی دنیا سے ٹھنڈک دے تو میری آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک اپنی عبادت میں رکھ دے
Allāhumma innī as’aluka fi‘l al-khayrāt wa tark al-munkarāt wa ḥubb al-masākīn wa an taghfir lī wa tarḥamnī wa idhā aradta fitnatan fī qawmin fatawaffanī ghayra maftūnin wa as’aluka ḥubbaka wa ḥubbaman yuḥibbuka wa ḥubba ‘amalin yuqarribunī ilā ḥubbik
O Allah! I ask You for being able to do good deeds, abstain from bad deeds and to love the deprived ones. And that You forgive me and have mercy on me and whenever You intend putting a nation on trial, grant me death without undergoing that trial. I ask You of Your love and the love of those who love You and the love of the deeds which will draw me nearer to Your love.
ا ے اللہ ! بے شک میں تجھ سے نیکیاں کرنے، برائیوں سے بچنے اور مسکینوں سے محبت کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور یہ کہ تو مجھے بخش دے اور مجھ پر رحم فرما اور جب تو کسی قوم کو آزمائش میں مبتلا کرنے کا ارادہ کرے تو مجھے بغیر آزمائش کے فوت کر دے، میں تجھ سے تیری محبت کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور اس کی محبت کا جو تجھ سے محبت کرتا ہے اور اس عمل کی محبت کا جو مجھے تیری محبت کے قریب کر دے
Allāhumma rabba Jibrā’īla wa Mīkā’īla wa Isrāfīla faṭir al-samāwāti wa al-arḍ, ‘ālim al-ghaybi wa al-šahāda, anta taḥkumu bayna ‘ibādika fīmā kānū fīhi yakhtalifūn, ihdinī limā ikhtulifa fīhi min al-ḥaqqi bi-idhnika, innaka tahdī man tashā’u ilā ṣirāṭin mustaqīm
O Allah! Lord of Gabriel, Mickhael and Israf'eel, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, Knower of the unseen and the evident, You will settle the matters which Your servants differ in, Guide me with Your consent to the Truth in what they differ, Indeed You guide whomever You will towards the straight path.
اے اللہ ! جبرائیل، میکائیل اور اسرافیل کے رب ، آسمانوں اور زمین کے پیدا کرنے والے، غائب اور حاضر کے جاننے والے، تو اپنے بندوں کے درمیان فیصلہ کرے گا جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے ہیں، اختلاف کی ان باتوں میں تو مجھے اپنی توفیق سے حق کی راہ دکھا کیونکہ تو ہی جسے چاہتا ہے سیدھے راستے کی طرف ہدایت دیتا ہے
O Allah! Distribute amongst us such awe and fear of Yours that will be a means of intervening between us and Your disobedience; and grant us such obedience of Yours that will enable us to reach Your Paradise; and such conviction which will ease upon us the afflictions of the world. O Allah! As long as You keep us alive, benefit us by means of our hearing, our sight and our bodily strengths; make each one of them our heir; avenge for us those who wronged us; help us against our enemies and do not place any difficulties in our Deen nor make the world the greatest of our sorrows nor a (limited) source of our knowledge and do not impose upon us one who has no mercy for us.
اے اللہ ! تو ہمیں اپنا ایسا خوف عطا فرما جو ہمارے اور تیری نافرمانی کے درمیان حائل ہو جائے ، ایسی اطاعت کی توفیق عطا فرما جو ہمیں تیری جنت تک پہنچا دے ، ایسا یقین جس سے ہماری دنیا کی مصیبتیں ہم پر آسان ہو جائیں اے اللہ! جب تک تو ہمیں زندہ رکھ تو ہمارے کانوں ،آنکھوں اور قوتوں سے ہمیں فائدہ پہنچا اور ہر ایک کو ہمارا وارث بنا ،ہمارا انتقام ہمارے ظالموں پر ڈال دے ،ہمارے دشمنوں کے خلاف ہماری مدد فرما ، ہمارے دین کے بارے میں ہم پر مصیبت نہ ڈال، دنیا کو ہمارے لیے بڑے غم کی چیز نہ بنا ،نہ ہمارے علم کا ذریعہ بنا اور ہم پر اس کو نہ مسلط کر جو ہمارے حال پر رحم نہ کرے
O Allah, I have entered into a covenant with You which You will never break. I am only a human being, so when I have injured, reviled, cursed or beaten a believer, make that for him a mercy, a purification and a means by which You will bring him near to You on the day of resurrection.
اے اللہ میں تجھ سے عہد کرتا ہوں اور تو ہرگز وعدے کے خلاف نہیں کرتا میں صرف ایک انسان ہوں تو جس مومن کو میں تکلیف دوں ،اس کو برا کہوں، اس پر لعنت کروں ، اسے سزا دوں تو تو اسے اس کے لئے رحمت اور پاکیزگی اور ایسا باعث قرب بنا دے کہ وہ قیامت کے دن تیرے قریب ہو
Our Rabb! Reform our matters within us, guide us to the path of Islam, and save us from the darkness towards the light, turn us away from all kinds of obscenity; the apparent as well as the hidden; bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses and our children, turn in mercy towards us. Indeed You are the One who greatly accepts repentance, Most Merciful. Make us the ones most grateful for Your blessings so we may compete with one another in praising You for these (bounties) and complete these (bounties) for us.
اے ہمارے رب! ہمارے درمیان اصلاح فرما دے اور ہمیں سلامتی کے راستوں پر چلا دے اور ہمیں اندھیروں سے روشنی کی طرف نجات دے دےاور ہم سے ظاہری و باطنی بے حیائیوں کو پھیر دے اور ہمارے لیے ہمارے کانوں، ہماری آنکھوں اور ہمارے دلوں اور ہماری بیویوں اور ہماری اولادوں میں برکت عطا فرما اور ہماری تو بہ قبول فرما بے شک تو بہت تو بہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان ہے اور ہمیں اپنی نعمتوں کا شکر گزار بنا، اس کی تعریف کرنے والا بنا اس کا قائل (زبان سے بیان کرنے والا) بنا دے اور ان کو ہم پر مکمل فرما
O Allah, indeed, I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the action that will cause me to attain Your love, O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family and cold water
اے میرے اللہ! میں تجھ سے مانگتا ہوں تیری محبت (یعنی مجھے اپنی محبت عطا فرما) اور اپنے ان بندوں کی محبت بھی مجھے عطا فرما جو تجھ سے محبت کرتے ہیں اور ان اعمال کی بھی محبت مجھے عطا فرما جو تیری محبت کے مقام تک پہنچاتے ہوں اے اللہ! ایسا کر دے کہ اپنی جان اور اہل و عیال کی محبت اور ٹھنڈے پانی کی چاہت سے بھی زیادہ مجھے تیری محبت اور چاہت ہو
O Allah, I ask You for a pure life, a righteous death, and a return that is not humiliating or disgracing.
اے اللہ میں تجھ سے مانگتا ہوں پاک صاف زندگی اور ڈھنگ کی موت (جس میں کوئی بدنمائی نہ ہو) اور (اصلی وطن آخرت کی طرف) ایسی مراجعت جس میں رسوائی اور فضیحت نہ ہو

O Allah, indeed I ask You for steadfastness upon deen and firmness upon guidance. And I ask You for that which makes Your mercy compulsory and the things that necessitate Your forgiveness. And I ask You for the capacity to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in a beautiful manner. And I ask You for a sound heart, a truthful tongue. And I ask You for all goodness that You know of and I seek refuge in You from all evil that You know of and I seek forgiveness from all that You know of. Indeed, it is You who is the Knower of the unseen.
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے دین پر ثابت قدمی اور ہدایت پر پختگی کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور میں تجھ سے تیری رحمت کو واجب کرنے والے اور تیری مغفرت کو لازم کرنے والے امور کا سوال کرتا ہوں،میں تجھ سے تیری نعمتوں کا شکرادا کرنے اور اچھے انداز میں عبادت کرنے کا سوال کرتا ہوں،میں تجھ سے قلب سلیم اور سچی زبان کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور میں تجھ سے ہر اس بھلائی کا سوال کرتا ہوں جسے تو جانتا ہے،ہر اس برائی سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں جو تیرے علم میں ہے اور تجھ سے (ان تمام گناہوں کی)بخشش چاہتا ہوں جو تیرے علم میں ہیں،بیشک تو غیبوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے
