O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness within it, and the goodness for which it was sent, and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil within it, and the evil for which it was sent.
اے اللہ میں تجھ سے اس ( ہوا) کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے اس کی بھلائی اور جو اس کے ذریعہ بھیجا گیا ہے اس کی بھی بہتری مانگتا ہوں اور اس کے شر اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے اس کے شر اور جو شر اس کے ذریعہ بھیجا گیا ہے اس سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں

When the Wind Blows
جب ہوا چلے
اَللَّهُمَّ لَقَحًا لَا عَقِيْمًا
Allāhumma laqaḥan lā aqīmā.
O Allah, let it be fertilising, not sterile.
اے اللہ! اسے بارآور (فائدہ مند) بنا، بے فائدہ نہ بنا۔

Salamah b. al-Akwaʿ (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said: “When it would be very windy, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say [the above]."

When It Rains
جب بارش ہو
(اَللّٰهُمَّ) صَيِّبًا نَّافِعًا
(Allāhumma) ṣayyiban nāfiʿā.
(O Allah) make it a beneficial rain.
اے اللہ! اسے نفع دینے والی بارش بنا۔

ʿĀ’ishah (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhā) narrates: “Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw rain, he would say [the above].”

After It Rains
بارش ہونے کے بعد
مُطِرْنَا بِفَضْلِ اللهِ وَرَحْمَتِهِ
Muṭirnā bi-faḍli-llāhi wa raḥmatih.
We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah.
ہم پر اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے بارش نازل ہوئی۔

Background & narration
Zayd b. Khālid al-Juhanī (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the Fajr prayer at Ḥudaybiyah after a rainy night. On completion of the prayer, he faced the people and said, “Do you know what your Lord has said?” The people replied, “Allah and His Messenger know better.” He ﷺ said, “[Allah has said], ‘This morning, some of My servants remained as true believers and some became non-believers: whoever said [the above] is a believer in Me, and he disbelieves in the star; and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star is a disbeliever in Me but believes in the star.’”
Subḥāna-lladhī yusabbiḥur-raʿdu bi-ḥamdih, wa-l-malā’ikatu min khīfatih.
How Perfect is the One whom the thunder exalts with praise of Him, as do the angels in awe of Him.
پاک ہے وہ ذات جس کی حمد کے ساتھ گرج (بادل کی) تسبیح کرتی ہے اور فرشتے بھی اس کے خوف سے تسبیح کرتے ہیں۔

Background & narration
When ʿAbdullah b. al-Zubayr (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) would hear thunder, he would stop talking and he would say [the above]. He would then say: “This is a severe warning for the people on earth.”
