And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance1 from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, carried by the angels. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers."
اور ان کے نبی نے ان سے فرمایاکہ اس کی بادشاہی کی نشانی یہ ہوگی کہ تمہارے پاس وہ صندوق واپس آئے گا جس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تسکین اور ان چیزوں میں سے کچھ باقی ماندہ اشیا جن کو آل موسیٰ اور آل ہارون چھوڑگئے ہیں فرشتے انہیں اٹھا لائیں گے،بے شک اس میں تمہارے لیے نشانی ہے اگر تم ایمان لانے والے ہو۔
Then Allāh sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers [i.e., angels] whom you did not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers.
پھر اللہ نے اپنی تسکین اپنے رسول پراور مومنوں پر اتاری اور ایسے لشکر بھیجے جنہیں تم دیکھ نہیں پارہے تھے اور کافروں کو عذاب دیااور کافروں کا یہی بدلہ ہے۔
If you do not aid him [i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)] - Allāh has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two,1 when they were in the cave and he [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allāh is with us." And Allāh sent down His tranquility upon him and supported him with soldiers [i.e., angels] you did not see and made the word2 of those who disbelieved the lowest,3 while the word of Allāh4 - that is the highest. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.
اگر تم اس (نبی ﷺ)کی مدد نہیں کروگے تو اللہ نے ان کی اس وقت مدد کی تھی جب کافروں نے اُنہیں نکال دیا تھا،(وہ)دو میں سے دوسرا تھا جب وہ دونوں غار میں تھے اس وقت وہ اپنے ساتھی سے کہہ رہاتھا کہ غم نہ کربے شک اللہ ہمارے ساتھ ہے ،پس اللہ نے اس پر اپنی تسکین نازل فرمائی اور ایسے لشکروں سے اس کی مدد کی جنہیں تم دیکھ نہیں رہے تھے اور اس نے کافروں کی بات پست کر دی اوراللہ کا کلمہ ہی بلند ہے اور اللہ غالب حکمت والا ہے۔
It is He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allāh belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allāh Knowing and Wise.
وہی وہ ذات ہے جس نے مسلمانوں کے دلوں میں تسکین نازل کر دی تاکہ وہ اپنے ایمان کے ساتھ ایمان میں مزیدبڑھ جائیں اور آسمانوں اور زمین کے لشکر اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور اللہ علم والا حکمت والا ہے۔
Certainly was Allāh pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you, [O Muḥammad], under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent conquest.
یقینًااللہ مومنوں سے راضی ہو گیا جب وہ درخت کے نیچے تجھ سے بیعت کر رہے تھے اور اُس نے جان لیا تھا جو ان کے دلوں میں تھا پھر اس نے ان پر تسکین نازل کی اور انہیں قریب کی فتح عنایت کی
When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism - the chauvinism of the time of ignorance. But Allāh sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers and imposed upon them the word of righteousness, and they were more deserving of it and worthy of it. And ever is Allāh, of all things, Knowing.
جب ان کافروں نے اپنے دلوں میں غیرت کو جگہ دی جاہلیت کی غیرت تو اللہ نے اپنے رسول پراور مومنوں پراپنی تسکین نازل فرمائی اور اس نے ان کو تقویٰ کی بات پر جمائے رکھا اور وہ اس کے اہل اور زیادہ مستحق تھے اور اللہ ہر چیز کو خوب جانتا ہے
