Background & narration
Ka‘ab bin ‘Ujrah (r.a) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, ‘After every obligatory prayers some invocations are such that their reader would never be deprived (of reward and ranks). Glory be to Allah 33 times, All praise is (due) to Allah 33 times, Allah is the Greatest 34 times. [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim: 1349]
حضرت کعب بن عجره رضی الله عنه سے روایت ہے که رسول الله صلی الله علیه وسلم نے فرمایا ہر فرض نماز کے بعد کچھ دعائیں ایسی ہیں جن کا پڑھنے والا کبھی (ثواب سے یا بلند درجات سے) محروم نہیں ہوتا۔ تینتیس بار سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، الله پاک ہے۔ تینتیس بار اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ تمام تعریف الله ہی کے لیے ہے اور چونتیس بار اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ الله سب سے بڑا ہے۔ (صحیح مسلم: 1349)
