Supplications after Azaan

Sayedna Abu Saeed Khudri narrates that the Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "When you hear the call to prayer, then say as the Mu'adhin says."

سیدناابو سعید خدری بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب تم اذان سنو تو اسی طرح کہو جس طرح موٴذن کہتا ہے

Sayedna Umar ibn Khattab narrates that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "When the Mu'adhin says 'Hayya 'ala-s-Salah, Hayya 'ala-l-Falah' (Come to prayer, come to success), then you should respond with 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no power nor strength except with Allah). And in response to 'As-salatu khayrun min an-nawm' (Prayer is better than sleep), these words will be repeated."

سیدناعمر بن خطاب بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریمﷺ نے فرمایا: ''جب مؤذن حَیَّ عَلَی الصَّلَاةِ حَیَّ عَلَی الْفَلَاحِِ کہے تو تم لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ کہو'' ۔اور الصلاۃُ خَییرٌ مِّنَ النَّۡومِ کے جواب میں یہی الفاظ دہرائے جائیں گے۔

O Allah, bless Muhammad ﷺ and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Surely, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, shower Your blessings upon Muhammad ﷺ and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Surely, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

اے اللہ ! محمدﷺ اور آلِ محمد ﷺ پر رحمت نازل فرما،جس طرح تو نے ابراہیم اور آلِ ابراہیم پر رحمت نازل فرمائی۔ بے شک توبہت تعریف والا اوربہت بزرگی والاہے ، اے اللہ ! محمد ﷺ او ر آلِ محمد ﷺ پر برکت نازل فرماجس طرح تونے ابراہیم اورآلِ ابراہیم پر برکت نازل فرمائی۔ بے شک توبہت تعریف والااور بہت بزرگی والا ہے۔

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad ﷺ the intercession and favor, and raise him to the praised station You have promised.

اے اللہ! اس دعوتِ کامل اور قائم ہونے والی نماز کے رب! محمد کو وسیلہ اور فضیلت عطا فرما اور انہیں اس مقامِ محمود پر فائز فرما جس کا تو نے ان سے وعدہ فرمایا ہے-

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without partner, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and Messenger. I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Muhammad ﷺ as my Messenger, and Islam as my religion.

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں ہے۔ وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور محمدﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔ میں اللہ کے رب ہونے، محمد ﷺ کے رسول ہونے اور اسلام کے دین ہونے پرراضی ہوں'' تو اس کے گناہ بخش دیے جائیں گے۔
