Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min jār al-sū’i wa min zawjin tushayyibunī qabla al-mashībi wa min waladin yakūnu ‘alayya rabban wa min mālin yakūnu ‘alayya ‘adhāban wa min khalīlin mākirin ‘aynuhu tarānī wa qalbuhu yar‘ānī in rā’ā ḥasanatan dafanahā wa in rā’ā sayyi’atan adhā‘ahā
O Allah! I seek your protection from evil neighbour, and from a spouse who will cause me to age before my time, and from children who will become a source of misery and grief for me, and from wealth which will become a means of torment for me, and a treacherous friend whose eyes are always watching me, and in his heart, he is probing into my affairs. And if he sees any good in me, he will conceal it but if he comes across any faults in my character he exposes them to all.
اے اللہ! میں آپ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں برے ہمسایہ سے، اور ایسے جیون ساتھی سے جو بڑھاپے سے پہلے ہی مجھے بوڑھا کر دے اور ایسی اولاد سے جو میرے لیے وبال (بوجھ) ہو اور ایسے مال سے جو میرے اوپر عذاب (کا سبب) بنے اور ایسے مکار دوست سے جس کی آنکھیں اور دل میری نگرانی کرتے ہوں اگر وہ مجھ میں کوئی خوبی دیکھے تو اس کو اپنے تک ہی رکھے اور اگر میری کوئی خامی دیکھے تو اس کا چرچا کرے

O Allah! Put affection amongst our hearts, reform our matters within us, guide us to the path of peace, save us from the darkness towards the light, save us from all kinds of obscenity; the apparent as well as the hidden; bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses and our children, turn in mercy towards us. Indeed You are the One who greatly accepts repentance, most Merciful. Make us the ones most grateful for Your bounties so we may compete with one another in Praising You for these (bounties) and complete these (bounties) for us.
اے اللہ ! ہمارے دلوں میں الفت ڈال دے اور ہماری باہم اصلاح فرما، ہمیں سلامتی کے راستے دکھا اور ہمیں اندھیروں سے روشنی کی طرف نجات عطا کر ، ہمیں ظاہری اور چھپے ہوئے گناہوں سے بچا، ہمارے لیے ہماری سماعتوں ، بصارتوں ، دلوں ، بیویوں اور اولاد میں برکت دے ، تو ہم پر مہربان ہو جا، بے شک تو ہی توبہ قبول کرنے والا ، رحم فرمانے والا ہے ہمیں اپنی نعمتوں کا شکر ادا کرنے والا بنا دے تاکہ ان کے ذریعے ایک دوسرے کے مقابلے میں تیری تعریف کرنے والے بن جائیں اور انہیں (نعمتوں کو) ہم پر پورا کر دے
Guide me to the best of characters for none can guide to it other than You, and deliver me from the worst of characters for none can deliver me from it other than You.
اے اللہ میری سب سے اچھے اخلاق کی طرف رہنمائی فرما تیرے سوا اچھے اخلاق کی راہ کوئی نہیں دکھا سکتا اور برے اخلاق کو مجھ سے دور کر دے انہیں تیرے سوا مجھ سے کوئی اور دور نہیں کر سکتا
