Ask Allah for well-being

Anas (RA) reported that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked: 'O Messenger of Allah! Which supplication is the best?' The Prophet ﷺ replied: 'Ask Allah for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter.' The man came back the next day and asked the same question. The Prophet ﷺ repeated: 'Ask Allah for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. If you receive well-being in both, you have attained success.'

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس ایک آدمی آیا اور اس نے کہا: اے اللہ کے رسول! کون سی دعا سب سے افضل ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ سے دنیا و آخرت میں درگزر اور عافیت مانگو۔ وہ شخص دوسرے دن پھر آیا اور عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے نبی! سب سے افضل دعا کون سی ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ سے دنیا و آخرت میں درگزر اور عافیت مانگو، جب تمہیں دنیا و آخرت میں عافیت مل گئی تو تم نے فلاح پا لی۔
