اَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ الرَّجِیْمِ
I seek protection in Allah from the rejected Shaytan.
میںشیطان مردود سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتا ہو ں ''

Background & narration
Sulaiman bin Surad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that two men argued in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we were sitting with him. One man, in a state of anger, was insulting the other, and his face had turned red. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I know a phrase which, if he says it, his anger will go away." He then added, "If he says: 'A'udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim' (I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed devil)." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) told him, "Do you not hear what the Prophet (peace be upon him) is saying?" The man replied, "I am not mad." (Sahih al-Bukhari: 6115)
سُلیمان بن صرُد رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ دو آدمیوں نے نبی کریمﷺ کی موجودگی میں جھگڑا کیا،ہم بھی آپ کی خدمت میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ ایک شخص دوسرے کو غصہ کی حالت میں گالی دے رہا تھااور اس کا چہرہ سرخ تھا ۔نبی کریمﷺنے فرمایا:'' میں ایک ایسا کلمہ جانتا ہوں اگر یہ شخص اسے کہہ لے تو اس کا غصہ دور ہو جائے''۔اگر یہ کہہ لے: ٠ اَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ الرَّجِیْمِ۔ میں شیطان مردود سے اللہ کی پنا ہ چاہتا ہوں۔ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے اس سے کہا کہ سنتے نہیں نبی کریمﷺ کیا فرما رہے ہیں ؟اس نے کہا : میں دیوانہ نہیں ہوں۔ ]صحیح البخا ری:6115[
