Background & narration
‘Abdullāh bin ‘Umar (r.a) narrated, that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) would say a hundred times before rising from a gathering: My Lord, forgive me and turn towards me (to accept my repentance). Verily You are the Oft Relenting, the Oft Forgiving. [Sunan al-Tirmidhī: 3434] Ṣaḥīḥ
حضرت ابن عمر رضی الله عنه سے روایت ہے که گِنا جاتا تھا که رسول الله صلی الله علیه وسلم ہر مجلس میں اُٹھنے سے پہلے سو بار فرماتے رَبِّ اغْفِرْلِیْ وَ تُبْ عَلَیَّ اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُوْرُ۔ اے الله تو مجھے بخش دے میری توبه قبول کر بے شک تُو بہت توبه قبول کرنے والا اور بخشنے والا ہے۔ (سنن الترمذی: 3434)
