کتوں کے مار ڈالنے کے حکم اور اس کے منسوخ ہونے کے بیان میں شکار کھیتی یا جانوروں کی حفاظت وغیرہ کے علاوہ کتے پالنے کی حرمت کے بیان میں
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ سَمِعَ مُطَرِّفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُغَفَّلِ قَالَ أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ الْکِلَابِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا بَالُهُمْ وَبَالُ الْکِلَابِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي کَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ وَکَلْبِ الْغَنَمِ
عبیداللہ بن معاذ، شعبہ، ابی التیاح، مطرف بن عبداللہ، حضرت ابن مغفل ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کتوں کے مارنے کا حکم دیا پھر ارشاد فرمایا کتے ان کا کیا بگاڑتے اور تکلیف دیتے ہیں پھر شکاری کتے اور بکریوں کے حفاظتی کتے کی اجازت دے دی۔
Ibn Mughaffal reported: Allahs Messenger ﷺ ordered the killing of dogs and then said: what is the trouble with them (the people of Madinah)? How dogs are nuisance to them (the citizens of Madinah)? He then permitted keeping of dogs for hunting and (the protection of) herds. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Yahya, he (the Holy Prophet ﷺ) permitted the keeping of dogs for (the protection of) herds, for hunting and (the protection of) cultivated land.
