Surah Al-Falaq
سورة الفلق
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Bismillāhir Raḥmānir Raḥīm. Qul a‘ūdhubi rabbil falaqi. min sharri mā khalaqa. wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqaba. wa min sharrin naffāthāti fil‘uqadi. wa min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasada.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak. From the evil of what He created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of the blowers in knots. And from the evil of an envier when he envies.
کہہ دیجئے! میں صبح کے رب کی پناه چاہتا ہوں ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو اس نے پیدا کی ہے اور اندھیری رات کی تاریکی کے شر سے جب وه پھیل جائے، اور گرہوں میں پھونکنے والیوں کے شر سے، اور حسد کرنے والے کے شر سے جب وه حسد کرے

Background & narration
It has been reported from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Āmir (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) commanded him to read Mu‘awidhat (Al-Ikhlāṣ, Al-Falaq and Al-Nās) after every obligatory prayer. [Sunan Abū Dāwūd: 1523] Ṣaḥīḥ
