اَللّٰهُمَّ اَذْهِبْ عَنْهُ حَرَّهَا وَبَرْدَهَا وَوَصَبَهَا
O Allah! Remove from him the heat, cold, illness, and weakness.
اے اﷲ!اس سے اس کی گر می و سردی اور بیماری ولاغری دُور کردے

Background & narration
ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĀmir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah and Sahl ibn Ḥunāyf (may Allah be pleased with them) both went out with the intention of taking a bath. They were searching for a place of cover. Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) removed his woolen cloak. ʿĀmir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when he looked at him, the evil eye affected him. Sahl went down into the water to bathe, and I could hear him murmuring in the water. I called him three times, but he did not respond. I then went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him the whole matter. The Prophet ﷺ came and entered the water, and it is as though I can still see the whiteness of his calves. He struck Sahl on his chest and recited the following supplication: اَللّٰھُمَّ اَذْھِبْ عَنْہُ حَرَّھَا وَبَرْدَھَا وَوَصَبَھَا (O Allah! Remove from him its heat, its cold, and its illness and weakness). Sahl then stood up, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any of you sees something in his brother, himself, or his wealth that he likes, he should invoke blessings upon it, for the evil eye is real." ٭ عبد اللہ بن عامررضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ عامر بن ربیعہ اور سہل بن حنیف رضی اللہ عنہما دونوں غسل کرنے کے ارادے سے نکلے وہ کوئی اوٹ تلاش کر رہے تھے ۔ سہل رضی اللہ عنہ نے اون کا جبہ اتارا ۔ (عامررضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ)جب میں نے انہیں دیکھا تو میری نظرانہیں لگ گئی ۔وہ پانی میں اتر کر نہانے لگ گئے۔ میں نے پانی میں اُن کے بڑبڑانے کی آوازسنی ۔میں اُن کے پاس آیا اوراُنہیں تین دفعہ آواز دی لیکن اُنہوں نے کوئی جواب نہ دیا ۔پھر میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور ساری بات بتائی ۔ آپ تشریف لائے اور پانی میں داخل ہو گئے گویا کہ میں اب بھی آپ کی پنڈلیوں کی سفیدی دیکھ رہا ہوں ۔آپ نے اُن کے سینے پر ہاتھ مارا اور پھر یہ دعا دی: ٠ اَللّٰھُمَّ اَذْھِبْ عَنْہُ حَرَّھَا وَبَرْدَھَا وَوَصَبَھَا. اے اﷲ!اس سے اس کی گر می و سردی اور بیماری ولاغری دُور کردے۔ انہوں نے کہا: پھر وہ کھڑا ہوگیا تو رسول اﷲﷺنے فرمایا:''جب تم میں سے کوئی اپنے بھائی یا اس کی ذات یااس کے مال میں کوئی ایسی چیز دیکھے جو اسے پسند آئے تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ اسے برکت کی دعا دے کیونکہ نظر کا لگنا برحق ہے''۔ ]السلسلة الصحیحة:2572[
