لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِیْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ یُحْیِیْ وَیُمِیْتُ وَھُوَ حَیّ لَّا یَمُوْتُ بِیَدِهِ الْْخَیْرُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِیْر
There is no true deity except Allah, alone, He has no partners. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him is due all praise. He gives life and causes death. He is Living and does not die, in His Hand is all good, and He has power over all things.
الله کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کے لیے بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کی تعریف ہے ، وہ زندہ کرتا ہے اور مارتا ہے اور وہ زندہ ہے کبھی نہیں مرے گا، بھلائی اسی کے ہاتھ میں ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر پوری طرح قادر ہے۔

Background & narration
When entering the marketplace Saalim bin Abdullah bin Umar (r.a) narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever recites this supplication upon entering the marketplace: ٠ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہُ لَا شَرِیْکَ لَہُ لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ یُحْیِیْ وَیُمِیْتُ وَھُوَ حَیّ لَّا یَمُوْتُ بِیَدِہِ الْخَیْرُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْئٍ قَدِیْر. (There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is ever-living and does not die. In His hand is all good, and He is powerful over all things), Allah will record for him one million good deeds, forgive one million sins, and raise him one million levels.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 3428] In another narration: “A house will be built for him in Paradise.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 3429]
بازار جاتے ہوئے ٭ سالم بن عبد اللہ بن عمررضی اللہ عنہ اپنے والد سے ،وہ ان کے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا: ''جو شخص بازار میں داخل ہوتے وقت یہ دعا پڑھے: ٠ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہُ لَا شَرِیْکَ لَہُ لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ یُحْیِیْ وَیُمِیْتُ وَھُوَ حَیّ لَّا یَمُوْتُ بِیَدِہِ الْخَیْرُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْئٍ قَدِیْر. تو اللہ اس کے لیے دس لاکھ نیکیاں لکھتا ہے،دس لاکھ گناہ معاف فرماتا ہے اور اس کے دس لاکھ درجات بلند فرماتا ہے''۔ ]سنن الترمذی:3428[ اور ایک روایت میں ہے کہ:'' اس کے لیے جنت میں ایک گھر تعمیر فرماتا ہے''۔ ]سنن ا لترمذی:3429[
