لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِیْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْئٍ قَدِیْر، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ، وَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ
There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. Glory be to Allah and all praise is for Him and there is no one worth worshipping other than Allah, and He is Greater than any description.
الله کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اسی کی بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کے لئے تمام تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر پوری طرح قادر ہے ۔ الله کی توفیق کے بغیر گناہ چھوڑنے کی طاقت اور نیکی کرنے کی قوت نہیں ہے۔ پاک ہے الله اور سب تعریف الله ہی کے لیے ہے اور الله کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور الله سب سے بڑا ہے۔

Background & narration
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever recites this supplication when he goes to bed, all his sins will be forgiven, even if they are as numerous as the foam of the sea. (Sahih Ibn Hibban: 5528)
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمﷺسے روایت کرتے ہیں،آپ نے فرمایا:''جو شخص اپنے بستر پر جاکر یہ دعا پڑ ھے تو اس کے سارے گناہ معاف کردیے جاتے ہیں اگرچہ سمندر کی جھاگ کے برابر ہوں'' ۔]صحیح ابن حبان:5528[
