Background & narration
Excellence of Visiting the Sick: Ali (r.a) said that I have heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying, ‘When a man goes to visit his sick brother in the morning, a group of seventy thousand angels prays for his forgiveness till the evening and a garden is prepared for him in Paradise. And when a man goes to visit his sick brother in the evening, a group of seventy thousand angels prays for his forgiveness till the morning and a garden is prepared for him in Paradise. عیادت کی فضیلت: حضرت علی رضی الله عنه نے فرمایا میں نے نبی کریم صلی الله علیه وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: جب کوئی شخص صبح کے وقت اپنے کسی مسلمان بھائی کی عیادت کرتا ہے تو ستر ہزار فرشتوں کا گروه اُس کی مغفرت کے لیے شام تک دعا کرتا رہتا ہے اور اُس کے لیے جنت میں ایک باغ تیار کر دیا جاتا ہے اور اگر کوئی شام کے وقت کسی مریض کی عیادت کرتا ہے تو ستر ہزار فرشتوں کا گروه اُس کی مغفرت کے لیے صبح تک دعا کرتا رہتا ہے اور اُس کے لیے جنت میں ایک باغ تیار کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ (مسند احمد، ج :975, 2) صحیح (سنن الترمذی:969 ،967)صحیح
