Sayyidina Abu Umamah reported that someone asked the Prophet ﷺ “O Messenger of Allah, which prayer is heard (most)?” He said, “In the last portion of the night and after the prescribed salah.” It is reported from Abu Dharr (RA) and Ibn Umar (RA) from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, “Around the last portion of the night, the supplication is most excellent and most likely to be accepted” or like the hadith.
