Hadith Books in English & Urdu

Eleven complete collections — Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and nine more — in Arabic with Urdu translation, eight of them fully in English too. Searchable, referenced, free, and available with no signal.

The eleven collections

Every book is complete — not a selection, not a sampler. Each carries the Arabic text with an Urdu translation by a named scholar, and eight also carry a full English translation. The three that are Urdu-only are marked as such in the app, so English readers know before they open them.

Searching every hadith book at once for a keyword

Read it the way you want to read it

Each hadith shows its chain of narration — the sanad — colour-coded so you can follow who reported it from whom. If you would rather read only the translation, you can hide the Arabic; if you read Urdu and find the English redundant, you can hide that too. The page is yours to simplify.

Books can be browsed by chapter, with the number of hadith in each chapter shown before you open it, or by topic across the collections when you are looking for what the Sunnah says about something rather than reading straight through.

Search every book, or just one

Full-text search runs across all eleven collections at once, or you can narrow it to a single book. Search in Urdu or in English, and results show the matching passage with your term highlighted, so you can tell at a glance which one you want before opening it.

You can also jump straight to a hadith by its number when you already know the reference and do not want to hunt through chapters for it.

Keep your place

  • Bookmarks per book, plus one view showing every hadith bookmark together.
  • Continue reading for each collection independently — Bukhari remembers its place whether or not you have been reading Muslim.
  • Copy and share any hadith with its reference intact.

Free, offline, no adverts

All 71,404 hadith are stored inside the app. There is nothing to download afterwards, nothing to log in to, no subscription, and no advertising anywhere — which is the reason most readers say they moved to IslamOne in the first place.

Common questions

Is Sahih Bukhari available in English and Urdu for free?

Yes. IslamOne includes the complete Sahih Bukhari — all 7,563 hadith — in Arabic with an Urdu translation by Mowlana Muhammad Dawood Raz, and a full English translation as well. It is free, has no adverts, and works offline.

Which hadith books does IslamOne include?

Eleven complete collections: Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Sunan Nasai, Jame' Tirmidhi, Sunan Ibn-e-Majah, Mishkaat al-Masabih, Muwatta Imam Malik, Musnad Imam Ahmad, Shamail Tirmidhi and Maarif ul Hadith — 71,404 hadith in total. Eight carry a full English translation; Mishkaat, Musnad Ahmad and Maarif ul Hadith are Urdu only.

Can I search hadith by keyword or by number?

Both. Full-text search runs across all eleven books at once or within a single book, in Urdu or English, with the matching text highlighted in the results. If you already know the reference you can jump directly to a hadith by its number instead of searching.

Does it show the chain of narration?

Yes. Each hadith displays its sanad — the chain of narrators — colour-coded so the chain is easy to follow, alongside the text and its reference.

Do the hadith books work without internet?

Yes. All eleven collections are stored inside the app when you install it, so every hadith, translation and search works with no connection at all.

Hadith is one part of the app. IslamOne also has the Quran with translations and tafseer, 429 supplications in Urdu and English and prayer times with a Qibla compass — all free, all offline.
