اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَوَّادِ، مُجْرِيَ السَّحَابِ وَمُنْزِلِ الْكِتَابِ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ رَبُّ الْاَ رْبَابِ، نَحْمَدُهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالٰى حَمْدَ الطَّائِعِينَ الْعُبَّادِ، وَنَتَوكَّلُ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكُّلَ الْمُخْبِتِينَ الزُّهَّادِ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi al-karīmi al-jawwād, mujriya as-saḥābi wa munzila al-kitāb, lā ilāha illā anta rabbul-arbāb, naḥmaduhu tabāraka wa ta‘ālā ḥamda aṭ-ṭā‘iīna al-‘ubbād, wa natawakkalu ‘alayhi tawakkula al-mukhbitīna az-zuhhād.
All praise is for Allah, the Generous, the Bountiful, the One who drives the clouds and revealed the Book. There is no deity except You, the Lord of lords. We praise Him, Blessed and Exalted, with the praise of the obedient worshippers, and we rely upon Him with the reliance of the humble and devoted ascetics.
سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں جو صاحبِ جود وکرم ہے، بادلوں کو چلانے والا اور کتاب کو نازل کرنے والا ہے۔ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں کہ تو رب الارباب ہے۔ ہم اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ کی حمد بیان کرتے ہیں جیسا کہ اطاعت گزار بندے کرتے ہیں اور ہم اس پرویسا ہی بھروسہ کرتے ہیں جیسا کہ زاہد و پرہیزگار لوگ کرتے ہیں۔
