اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الرَّحِيمِ الرَّحْمٰنِ، الْكَرِيمِ الْمَنَّانِ؛ هَدَانَا لِلْاِيمَانِ، وَعَلَّمَنَا الْقُرْآنَ، نَحْمَدُهُ حَمْدَ الشَّاكِرِينَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ اسْتِغْفَارَ التَّائِبِينَ، وَنَسْاَلُهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ الْعَظِيمِ؛ فَهُوَ الرَّبُّ الْكَرِيمُ، الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi al-raḥīmi al-raḥmān, al-karīmi al-mannān; hadānā lil-īmān, wa ‘allamanā al-Qur’ān, naḥmaduhu ḥamda al-shākirīn, wa nastaghfiruhu istighfāra al-tā’ibīn, wa nas’aluhu min faḍlihi al-‘aẓīm; fahuwa al-rabbu al-karīm, al-barru al-raḥīm.
All praise is for Allah, the Compassionate, the Most Merciful, the Generous, the Bestower; Who guided us to faith and taught us the Qur’an. We praise Him with the praise of the grateful, seek His forgiveness with the seeking of the repentant, and ask Him from His great bounty; for He is the Generous Lord, the Kind, the Merciful.
سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں جو بہت مہربان ، نہایت رحم فرمانے والا، کرم نواز اوراحسان کرنے والا ہے، اس نے ہمیں ایمان کی طرف ہدایت دی اور ہمیں قرآن سکھایا۔ ہم شکرادا کرنےوالوں کی حمد کی طرح اس کی حمد بیان کرتے ہیں اورہم توبہ کرنے والوں کے بخشش طلب کرنے کی طرح اس سے بخشش طلب کرتے ہیں،اور ہم اس سے اس کے فضل عظیم کاسوال کرتے ہیں ، پس وہ صاحبِ کرم ،بہت احسان فرمانے والا اوررحم فرمانے والا رب ہے۔
